I go once a year, it’s a magical place.

Depending on the direction of the wind I’ll camp in various places. As already said there’s usually a wind as it’s on the Atlantic.

If you are thinking about going just do it!

I visit Achill once every 6 weeks.....

For the last 24 years.

Sometimes it might stretch out to 8 weeks.


Rarely spend more than an hour there.....unfortunately.
