action cam to phone problems

Hi folks
hoping one of you will be able to help me .
I am trying to connect a topjoy action cam with wi-fi to my samsung phone the problem is that the phone will not let me install the app .it says that the phone is set to block how do I alter these settings

What phone/operating system? If it is android and you are trying to sideloaded then go into settings, security and allow unknown sources.

Tried altering various items still
no luck

Where us the app coming from that you are trying to install?

Scanned the barcode on the package which then started to download the app

Ok then it definitely sounds like your problem is what is said earlier.

That's a terrible way for a company to distribute it's app by the way. It should be in the play store.

Found one on playstore and installed it ok but still will not link with cam
