Add Givi Maxia Stop Lights

Can I just wire my Givi Maxi Stop lights in to the existing brake light wiring, or will it upset the Canbus?

If not I can add a relay, but it is extra work.

I had one wired direct to the brake light on a 2010 GS and it was OK
