Adjustable clutch lever

Have searched the site and the web and can't find anything for the 1100.

I am after an adjustable clutch lever for my 1998 1100 gs anyone know to such a device and if so where to buy it from?

what like the hydraulic leaver wheel adjustment type?

whats up wi adjustin at the gearbox,? once done it should be ok
the standard leaver is adjustable on the cable knurled adjuster on the handle bar .

i use a long extension bars with angled ends , so its like a snake...

undo the lock nut, set the free play 5to 7mm back the lock nut just slightly off , then when it nipped up ye get close to ye 6mm free play.

this is done on the exhaust side, its too tight for me to get into the opposite side

others will do it different , but this works for me

as I am also in search of a adjustable clutch lever for my 1999 1100 GS, I dare say that the methods proposed here for adjusting the cable either at the clutch or at the lever side, although they might work, are not "proper". You just increase the lever's "play" this way. I would like to keep the play as it should be, but bring the lever closer to the grip.

I've seen OEM adjustable cable clutch levers on Jap bikes, and aftermarket like this one by pazzoracing

They produce virtually everything for the beemers, I can't imagine they don't make something like this....

This has bugged me ever since I got my 1100 (along with a few other things, like petrol pissing out of the tank overflow when the tank is full and on the side stand - WTF is all that about???).

The ergonomics of the bar levers just aren't that good. They could do with bumps in them to suit yr fingers, like older kawasaki levers and the like, and the clutch lever could indeed do with span adjustment. I have thought about taking a file and a hacksaw to a spare kawasaki lever a few times, but I doubt if I'll do much more than ruin a perfectly good clutch lever.

Maybe I just have little girly paws.

Are there any other BM levers out there that fit?

if you take the time to heat them properly you can certainly straighten them...spray cans are cheaper than wunderlicht

even if we wanted, wunderlich doesn't offer levers for the cable clutch version...

(my fingers must be girly as well, and combined to an old injury in the left hand, I have the same problem in long journeys with both the 1100 and the 80....)

I don't think they make them for a cable clutch on the 1100. I've seen one on an 1150 though.

Petrol, your just over filling it, they all do that so just use centre stand if filling it to the brim.
