Adjustable gear lever (11xxGS)

Does anyone happen to know how much longer you can make the Touratech adjustable lever than the standard lever?

I've fitted some Migsel low pegs which are lower and further forwards (at least an inch) and I'd like to regain some of the shift lever spacing as its a squeeze to get the boot in..

I'll have a measure when I get home tonight, but I'm sure the answer will be "too long". I have lowered pegs and the OE lever was just OK until I got some Altberg boots. I have the lever on less than half its extension. Remember it adjusts up & down as well as in & out (oo-er Matron)

Here you go. 2 sets of 3 photos, first set on minimum, then on max. Hope they are self-explanatory. My lower pegs are SW Motech.

The TT lever is great on a GS with Migsel pegs but you might have to re-shape the exhaust as the link rod will foul it. Nothing major - just 5 mins with a ball ended hammer.

BTW, I extended my brake lever by 40mm as well.
