I was just wondering if there was some trick to adjusting the preload on the front 1200 spring. I want to increase it. Will it turn with your hand or do you need a tool.

Thanks

Rick

There should be a 'C' spanner in the tool kit, dead easy.

You can reduce the preload by hand, but you will need the C spanner to increase it.

Actually it has very little in it. No Torx sockets, zippo. Try removing the front wheel without the special tool !

FYI
You'll probably notice the ride is slightly smoother but the "Turn in" is less sharp as you add the front preload.
