adv 1200 pillion footrests

Hi all,does anybody know how to lower the pillion footrests by a inch or two without breaking the bank.The ones nippy Normans list look OK but just seem a bit dear.Has anybody done or seen a d.i.y option or perhaps footrests from a other bike, thank you.

NN's are a bit dear but they do the job perfectly, a p.o.p to fit and they look part of the bike. My missus is well pleased so I guess it was worth it.
