started making creaking noise.

1) Ignore it - it's just the hot dry weather; or

2) Oh dear - it's about to pack in.

Whaddyathink?

Check it is the shock - it's usually the paralever bearings that creak

on a slight tangent, am looking at getting by now spare Showa shock re-furbished and with a stiffer spring. Anybody know of where I can get it done in and around London?

Has anyone ever tried to Monolever a GS or GSA??
I've never liked Paralevers.
Stems from having one disintegrate and lock up on me in a very nasty place.
 :( 3rd lane M6/ A5 junction Cannock
Admitedly it was on a K1100. but I have rode loads of Beemers since with the Paralever and I just don't feel safe :rob
In Fact the R1200 Cruiser :ymca :ymca is the Only current Beemer I would buy, mainly 'cos it ain't got a Paralever, and it is Jolly comfortable :ymca :bounce1
so Steptoe :) O Wise one,>>
Is it possible??
Is it Viable???
Is it just ME ???? :(

I await your response :mmmm
