Hi, has anyone got any persornal experience of an organisation called 'Rapid Training' ? Thanks

A mate and I spent two days with Jon Taylor. I would recommend him totally unreservedly. The man is a God

Used them about ten years ago, seemed a good bunch and able to configure the training to my needs.
IIRC Gary Baldwin writes a few articles in Bike. A lot of their instructors were / are plod, but didn't hang around, eg my instructor had a ZX 9.

Yes - excellent. Done a couple of things with them including a day with Gary sitting on my tail at interesting speeds and must go again. If you get the chance to hear Gary speak, take it. He is excellent value. I was thinking the TV group should invite him along. He and MMC would get on well and it might persuade MMC to actually turn up for once.

As good as it gets for Road/Track based 'real road riding' They aren't just Police class 1's but specially selected Police Class 1's. What they don't know about riding isn't worth knowing.
I'd love to do one of their track days but can't justify buying a set of leathers......
And +1 with regards to what Jimbo says about Jon Taylor. Words don't do justice etc etc

Done several courses and track days with them. Excellent training and nice chaps as well.

Same here, two of us spent a day with Jon, awesome rider and nice bloke.
He lives about two miles from me, so imagine my shock when I got Jon as my IAM examiner last April

I would highly recommend Rapid Training
I've done two road days with them and two half-days on the track.
For both of the road-based days, where they normally run one instructor and two pupils, I had the undivided attention of a 1-to-1 because they were both late in the year an no-one else had booked up. Both instructors were very good I had Dave B for the first one and Andy M for the second.
Don't worry about them mostly being coppers or ex-coppers they like to go fast like anyone else.
You won't find any more experienced or authoratitive on-road motorcycle training anywhere else in the world, in my opinion.
You would spend £150 on a pair of boots or gloves or half of a helmet so why not spend that much on training? Worth every penny.

Echo everything stated above. Jon Taylor is a riding God, very experienced, quick, but quiet and unassuming. I have done both road and track stuff with them and enjoyed it thoroughly...really nice atmosphere and genuinely knowledgeable guys.
Best Track Day I have ever been on.
Planning to do one of their two day courses on the strength of that experience.
All MCN / Bike / Ride journos use them if that is worth anything?
