you chaps may well already be aware of the above shop.i tried t'otherday to order a mudsling,a fender extender and a givi adapter plate for my monokeytopbox from nippy normans.I cant order with a debit card over t'net because some thieving slag has fraudulently used my card to buy stuff with my details.i fired off an e mail to his nippiness explaining my situation so that I could pay over the phone.no reply,no email, nada.imagine if one was to have a problem with apart for whatever reason if you can't phone or email his majestic normship how difficult and time consuming that might be.Not one to give in I rang the adventure bike shop and spoke to an increadibly helpful lady named Jenny who made enquiries on my behalf, phoned me back as promised and despatched the parts to me the next day.Good service deserves recognition,as does crap service..well done Jenny I'll be buying my farkles from now on.:aidan

Happy to hear this glowing report, I'm going to be getting some AltRider kit from them soon, so now happily looking forward to the experience. Nice to have good news for once!

tbh, i find it cheaper to order Altrider pieces from Altrider (eu). Even with the courier fees, its slightly cheaper.

yorkshire yep that figures, couldnt possibly support a really good uk shop whos customers service is really good to save a shilling elsewhere:D

I'm a Geordie who just lives in Yorkshire, but lets do an experiment.

Altrider luggage plate from Altrider = £88 before postage. Adventure Shop = £107. Thats not a shilling. Even with postage, Altrider comes in cheaper. You want to pay over the top? Go ahead chump

I'm sure cliff at the adventure shop will discount a bit as he has for me in the past to get closer to alt riders price keeps everyone happy and keeps a good local business going.

+1 For Adventure Bike. I have had Altrider stuff from them .Fast and efficent and You can always haggle !

Bought my Badlands gear, Interphone F5, camping chairs and klim gloves from Jenny/Cliff. Plus eaten their decent chocs brought back from the E.U. They aren't local to me but I've had had pleasant banter and free tea from them. :thumb2

I very recently purchased a Klim Latitude outfit plus base layers and Keis stuff from Cliff/Jenny at ABS.

They were very good to deal with, they had the gear in stock and they gave me discount. Can't say fairer than that....well apart from... unlike Biot I didn't get offered any chocolates, although I did get coffee.

Very professional, very knowledgeable and very patient. Good guys to deal with. :thumby:

And yes always good to hear about good service.

Bought several things over the years from here, good deal on a Shoei Neotec, Wallys Cafe is on the entrance to the site, plus only 12 miles away for me.
They also have monthly All Year Biker sessions. Well worth a visit.

Way too far away to ride to for me easily so I rang to enquire on a full set of Bumot Panniers/Top Box and Liners a couple of times from a good report on this forum. I got a bit of a 'rushed reply' first time after querying why price was higher than Bumot website. I thought or assumed they must have been busy with someone else on phone or in the shop so I rang again a week or so later and left a message & my number with a lady who said Cliff would call back which never happened.

I'm always happy to pay decent money for decent service! I ordered the Altrider Skid Plate for my '14GSA. Ordered at 11:50, email saying it was shipped at 12:30, product arrived following day packaged efficiently! Can't argue with that for speed and efficiency. I even got a bit confused which options I needed when ordering, so called in and spoke to a helpful woman (sorry forget the name) who pointed me tot he right options! Happy Days!

Cliff is selling his bike. Descend shop and no I haven't bought from them yet :D Pleasant to deal with and helpful with numpty questions like mine.

Hi Mark, Riding my 2014 GS-LC, just passed 12,000 miles and starting to think about a fresh GS, although the lowered GSA'S seem to be in vogue at the moment.
