Ok playmates I know this has been discussed lots but having read about some of the bars out there I want some more details please. What are the best bars for my Adventure. I like the look of BMW ones but I hear they can damage the tank when hit and the lowers need to be removed to change the oil filter. I hear the H & B bars are good, but do they need to be removed for filter changes and do they cause damage to anything in a spill. I have also seen TT bars talked about are these Tourtech? if not who makes them and what are they like? Lots of questions I know but I know you guys have all the knowledge so please can you give me some pointers.

Cheers

Mermoto :mmmm

My GSA has the standard crashbars fitted, you do need to unbolt the lowers to change the oil filter but it's no big deal so isn't a problem. I'm not sure how they would damage the tank.

One of the guys dumped his bike at the Hogroast - fitted with H&B bars - the bars were scrathed up but the only damage was a broken indicator...very impressive.

If anyone's looking for a set of Adventure crash bars, there is an immaculate set advertised on e-bay at the moment. Nothing to do with me - just happened to see them yesterday. ;)
