There can't be a hard and fast rule. Try at dealers, with a low seat. If you can live with that height - get a Wunderlich/Touratech/Kahedo low seat (which is even better than the BMW low seat) Al

It's also pretty variable. I've ridden one Adventure - ex Si Rich and now owned by fringe , both of this parish - which is actually lower than my GS. It would appear that there's quite a variation in them as they come out of the factory.

I'm 5' 11" and I put GS Ohlins on my GSA ..... (if you have "short legs" you can also get modified foot rests which give a more comfortable riding position) and as has been said there is, (was) a low seat option you can also get an adjustable arm for the paralever ...... I cannot remember if this allowed you to change the ride height .... but I think so

That is what I went to the dealers for to find outwhich bike I could ride... and not to buy a Triple Black... whoops Sorry the those whose bikes I was coming to view.. job done
