Hi
So, doing my service today on my <strike>2018</strike> <style type="text/css">p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 115%; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; }</style> 2008 GSA, read about checking spoke tension. Went round the rear wheel with a little spanner, tap tap tap. Mostly fine, a couple made a slight sound so tightened up the bolt at the wheel hub centre, no issue. Front wheel, however, several making the odd noise. Try to tighten up the bolts at the wheel hub centre by turning just a slight amount... they turn ok but the bolt doesn't hold, it just unwinds to previous position (which is maybe 10-15 degrees of angular rotation). This is for several spokes; bolts seem tight enough (as in not 'loose') and they turn just fine but just slip back again. None of the spokes are physically loose.
So, do I take the wheel to a specialist to investigate because this sounds odd, or is it fine because the spokes do not feel physically loose when I jiggle with my fingers? Bike generally feels fine to ride.
Thanks
