My first question which is the best kit for mounting a Garmin (and having it secure) on my gsa?. I think TT do one that locks.

Then I want to be able to have it on my Street Triple also and I hope i can have another basic mount but move the lockable and expensive bit?

finally are these things easy to wire into the bikes electrics and thus stay charged when on the bike? or will the fact i want to move the expensive lockable mount between the bikes make things more difficult wiring wise?

thanks for any help:thumb2

Hi,

What is the device being attached.

To clarify minor detail.

The device sits inside a cradle or holder or dock (this is not the mount)

The Mount is the hardware used to attach onto the bike and hold the device and its cradle.

So if getting a TomTom Rider2/Urban or Garmin Zumo 550/660 then there's a mount in the box.

As to tweaks, for 12GSA I would use RAM-B-231Z on screen support rail near clock,, would remove screen when fitting as well .. as tfor he Speed Triple, same again onto handlebars with same part, RAM-B-231Z.
