Advice on approx value please?

At the risk of receiving replies showing a photo of a piece of string I'd be grateful if anyone could give me a rough idea on what a 60,000 mile 2 owner 11 year old standard grey 1150GS could be worth. Started life as a 500km old grey import which a franchised dealer converted to UK spec and sold to the current owner.

It's been ridden daily until a year ago, and seldom if ever cleaned, engine and wheels a bit corroded. Sorry, no pics, a friend of the owner just described it to me and asked me for a rough guide to what is was worth as he's going to sell it in Jan and has no idea what price to ask.

No service history after the first 2 years, no known mechanical issues or damage, and 11 months tax and MOT on it. Thanks.

Mine (X reg 2000) with 105k similar condition was valued at £2300 this summer by insurers following a collision. Now back on road with a new engine

Too late, I've offered £60.

I have seen these offered for £3500. Not sure if they go for that in the end. But there is a large price differential between expected wants on bikes.

I just traded mine in against a new KTM 990 Adv , they allowed me £2,700 for a 03 twin plug , 63,000 , one owner , very clean !

Just bought a X reg 1150gs, blue and white, it is just a stop gap until I get new one in March. I paid £3600, it is low mileage 29k and when the bloke got it out of the garage both my friend and myself couldn't believe the condition, no corrosion anywhere. It was like new. So yes, it does very much depend on condition.
