:D I have read all the threads re screens and visited sites all over the world and the dogs doo dahs of replacement screens seems to be the aero flow, although it is big bucks !!! I am now being lazy, anyone got one near me so I can have a ganders and see what they are like in the flesh ? Seems the MRA is second choice, had one myself on my trusty Varadera. If not ,any chance of some piccies. Ta.

Malkys got one on his 1100GS, although he's now removed it for the spring.

If you do a search on "barn door" that should throw up the pics.

Steve.

yup here it is

(Picture taken from way way up in the stratosfear to play down the sheer scale of it) - It sits level with my nose.
Just how ugly can a GS get ?
I love it. I recently switched back to the standard screen. And good grief the standard one is loud.
I am 6'1" and, on the Aeroflow, I get turbulence on the top inch or two of my helmet, which is OK.

Got my screen out of the BMW Club mag a year ago for a steal and the weather protection is amazing, infact generally only the top of the helmet gets wet. This winter I found milder than last so have taken off early. I would not consider using in summer as you WILL boil alive as the protection so so good.
Only one draw back I have found is that you get to hear more engine noise. Oh and of course it makes the fuel consumption 3mpg more should you choose to ride quick, so someone once told me. A bit less it you take it easy, so my friend tells me, apparently.
BTW: it does not even act like a sail even in very high wind (unless you are almost stationary). Very odd but I guess the slot has something to do with that.

Trotts/malky I have one of these bigbabes:) for the 1150.
It looks slightly better than malky's (imho sorry mate)although it is tinted on the lower section and indicators sit behind the screen not like malky's.

Better looking than mine. That would not be hard.

Hi , I removed my Aeroflow screen, I found it difficult to see through in the bush as the shape of the screen distorts the immage, it is also prone to breaking as you fall off, AND due to it's large size I was getting approximately 50K's less per tank fill, So I have this nice piece of Perspex in the gararge collecting dust, Go for the Givi screen as they bend when you park the bike against a tree.
Cheers:shoot:
