Finally my stich suit's last zip broke this morning :blast I bought it 2nd hand from MMC couple of years ago and treated me well. Now at the moment I am pretty skint in terms of sending it over to the states for a full valet service which they are know to do so well.

Can anybody recommend me a decent tailor repair shop that can fit new zips to the suit locally in the UK :nenau

I am pretty stuffed as it is mid winter and this morning riding in jeans with waterproofs was interesting to say the least :augie

Alternatively if someone has a 2nd hand roadcrafter in size 42 or 44 about regardless of condition/age/colour providing the zips still works for a decent price please drop me a pm :beerjug: (not asking much huh :) )

Oooooh ... will be calling them later to see if they can replace all the crap zips and cheapo fastners on my Hein Geireke trousers.

Depending on how the zipper is broken, maybe one of the repair kits from Aerostich will get you back on the road.

I think it is to far gone by now. The zippers don't have anything to hold on anymore so I have improvised with keyrings and cable ties. Now the zip basically stopped meshing the two parts together. Well overdue and certainly made it stretch as far as possible as long as possible.......can't bleed a rock and all of that :D
