Yes a couple of times.

I used either their next day or two day service for shipping within the USA. I had stuff shipped to meet me at my hotel in the USA during one of my visits. Shipping is fast & efficient and everything is really well packed. Your best option is to find a friendly GSer to bring stuff back for you.

If you are having stuff shipped to you from the USA then you will get taxed for stuff over £18. Tax is made up of import duty (rate varies but can be 10% or more) then VAT on the total bill (including shipping costs). Bottom line - yes, you get shafted.

You cannot get Aerostich stuff in Europe - your only option is to deal direct.

ordered some stuff last year..it was small stuff really, liners and bags and camping stuff..

arrived in a few days.. no problems..

Yes I have ! I had a suit made to measure 'cos I'm a fat bastard with short legs, and I'd be taller if my legs were longer !.

Very efficient , standard products from their catalogue will take 2 to 3 weeks.........but beware if you buy a suit from them , and take delivery in the UK, you will have to pay IMPORT DUTY , and then VAT on the item cost and the IMPORT DUTY ........which makes it very expensive.

I had my suit delivered to a friend in the USA , she shipped it to me in the UK , marked as a gift valued £45.........problem solved.

Aerostich won't do this wheeze direct for you as I asked !!

You can't buy Aerostitch from anyone but them ,and I can't recommend them to highly for customer service , quality etc etc etc

Aerostitch is really good kit. Their customer service was really helpful especially on sizing. I was hesitant about ordering such expensive kit over the phone.

You will get taxed as the others described and you can get the information from HM customs. I think the DUTY bit is actually fixed % for clothing. They seem to have several rate depending on the type of goods. I don't think it is "pot luck", although you have to check.

Given the current exchange rate of $1.8 to a pound, the suit is GREAT value.
