Can anyone recommend a good end can. Is it better to replace the whole system? I heard that "Bos" do both for the 1200gs. Are they any good?

After two years with the original BMW silencer, I got tired of the sound, or should I say the lack of sound.
Now I have installed the BMW/Akrapovic sports silencer and what a difference! It is winther here in Denmark, so I took the bike outside and started it on the centerstand. First impression with no muffler-insert sounds great! The sound is deep and not too loud. When the weather is a little bit better I will make a testride.
The Akrapovic is made of titanium, so 4 kg less weight!

cheap fix
now i know many my poopoo this next comment but i've done a carbon can on the cheap. £75 total. I got a carbon can off ebay for £40 with the 50ish mm pipe end and bought a conector pipe from the carbon can co for £35 oh and £8 for the pipe joining clips so £83 in total. looks great and sounds just right, little more volume and bass nice. only problem i've had is cos its a little higher its melted the indicator which is a easy fix so no great problem. worth a go as i just think £300+ for an endcan is taking the piss. and what i've saved can be spent on trick bits for the prilla RXV.

Had one of those on my 2006 12 it made fookall diff to the performance and only slightly loader
the strap was loose on mine when cold and marked the titanium sleeve
took it back to bmw and got my hard earned returned
I'm now thinking of going the two bros route with a full system to release some ponnies
