bbeforwe I go mad and sling thwe bloody lot out of the window what is the best and simple way (for an old fart) to get classic tunes meaning real classical music such as the Who and the Stones) on to my 660?.
I admit to being a numpty in such matters but you will all be old and silly one day (some already there!).

Make sure you populate the artist and album bits in the file details before you transfer them else the Zumo won't sort em for you.

Hi Dave. The Garmin wil need a micro SDard if you have not already got one, an 8gb is cheap and quite up to the task. about £3 on fleabay. This is where the music is stored.

What program are you using to transfer the music? I use windows media player.(WMP). You need to tell it to rip the music (download from CD) in MP3 format, (Sync options in the drop down box below SYNC tab) It defaults to WMA which dear old Garmin does not like.
You can remove the micro SD card or just use your usb lead and plug the Garmin into your computer, which may be easier. It will appear on the left hand column of WMP program. just select sync and choose the Garmin. Then just drag and drop the music you want into the sync box on the right.. Press start sync and away it goes. Best of Luck, Dave.
