anybody out there know what colour wire the air temperature sensor sends its signnal back to the ECU on R1150GS

According to page 8-40 of my Haynes manual,a brown with dark blue or black accent, wire runs from the "intake air temp sensor" to pin 6 of the ECU.
The other wire to the sensor is brown with grey accent.
Hope that helps.
What is the actual problem, rich mixture, using too much fuel by any chance?.

chip

no bike runs fine ,but i have a magnum dino boost chip that needs to be spiced into the return signal wire

Spicy boost chip Magnums ..... mmmm ...... my favourite

Never heard of it. so a quick google and...

0-15 % + HP (adjustable)

0-15 % + Torque (adjustable)

0-30 % + acceleration (adjustable)

higher top end speed
diminished flat spots
improved throttle response
unit never will damage the engine
incidental mismatching of wires by installation does not result any damage
Power status LED

big claims - which maybe explains why I never heard of it...

tried a search in the GSspot and - "D'oh... Our sucky search engine couldn't handle that term."

be interesting to hear on its actual effect. (if any)

Dream on dear reader, dream on, does it make the tea?.

lot of money for summat that does the same job as a 30p resistor, tried stuff like this before, the power increase will be nothing, or itl be at the expence of drivability, and no where near what they say, id like to see one on a dyno, before and after

put water in your whiskey and i will let you know if 30p against 30quid was worth it (only trying to gain some control over the mixture)

i used a techlusion and junked the lambda, TOTAL controll over the mixture, :thumb2, u can get one that works wi the lambda too
the exaust was the most improvement though:thumb2

great result

strapped an ice cube on the sensor , then spliced the dyno-boost into my teasmaid it uses 15% more watts, boils like crazy and the tea is a great colour , i`ve got a wet pocket though from carrying the spare ice cube`s ,(no it`s ok i just pissed myself)

Well....you ARE at that funny age..............:augie

Quick...get Steff to dry yer slippers on the radiator before they smell like something H might own. :D

techlusion can only add fuel

and that changes the mixture???cant really do much else wi injectors without actually altering em???
most probs on bm,s are weak, adding fuel does it

Extend duration, more fuel :thumb2
Currently running my new laser pipe without the cat code, runs fine, looks a little sooty back there.

I pulled my cat code plug (beige) Boy what a difference:thumb Ok uses a bit more fuel, dropped 10miles to the tank, But much more usable in town, perfect roll on and no snatch at all.Goes right down to tickover in top gear 5th:clap Outstandin
