Anyone used a BMW Air vantage waist coat?

Thinking of getting one, but wondered if it the will do the job instead of, or as well as an electric heated jobby?

I've got one which I was given as a present. I wouldn't buy one, especially at the £175.00 rrp. I haven't worn it on the bike as it doesn't fit with my back and chest protector.

It is, however, useful for wearing under a shell or even over a windproof fleece if you're going to be walking and then standing around in the cold. You can reduce the insulation when you're being active and then blow it up if you're not producing body heat. FWIW, mine gradually leaks air and goes flat.

Super bit of gear.

Really do the job, last a lot longer than any heated style vest ive had.
