I have had many bikes in that time and I never have to worry about how comfortable a bikes seat is when I buy a bike. Much cheaper than buying a dedicated after market seat everytime you change your, also good if you have more than bike. It isn't completely fool proof, you can eventually get a numb arse if you ride long enough but it is much better than riding without. Lots of round the world riders use them. I suggest buying the more expensive neoprene one as they seem to last longer.
