Has anyone any experience of the Airhawk seats. Have got the chance of a second hand one and was wondering if any good before i fork out the cash....

Hi,
I am waiting delivery of my 21 GS but I have used the airhawk seat on my VFR750 and did 550miles in one day.
It makes a big differance without it i was lucky to do 100 miles.
Also Tourtecs are just as good as we have both.
Mind you these were the cusions.

Hi...

Had my rider and passenger AirHawk seats for about 3 years now and wouldn't do long trips without them. You won't need much air in them at all by the way, put too much in and they can become quite hard. So yep, highly recommended.

I’m assuming you mean the actual seat ,rather than the pads.
I’ve tried the seat on a weekend away (600 miles) and it was an improvement over a stock seat.... for me, remember we are all shaped differently.
However, I don’t think it’s worth all that money for a little bit of improvement. If you’re getting it for a cheap price, give it a go.

Thanks for the replies, it was actually the seat itself not the cushion/pad. Unfortunately I was unable to buy the item as someone beat me to it..... 🙄
