After many years of (ab)use my trusty early model airhawk gave out the other day.
The problem was that the rubber around the bend of the valve had cracked - no way of getting a patch onto it
Before giving it up for dead - I tried using the coating material we use to seal earplugs with.
A few coats produced a perfect repair - It's only done a short run so far but seems fine.
If you have the same problem then I'll happily do the repair FOC (just cover the postage)
Should add that this is the neoprene - I don't think it would work on the budget models..
