Alaska 2012

Ooohhhh, it's getting more real now!

Bikes loading 26th April. I only get back from Australia on the 20th, I'll need to do all the final prep work and service before I go to Oz. I need to get organised:eek:

......... speaking of which: I'm right in thinking Chris is going to organise a discount at said hotel before we book - am I not?

My flight with Virgin cost me £950 :nenau

I'm flying out Thursday 19th July (VS019) and back on Sunday 19th Aug (VS 20) - both ways with Virgin Atlantic - no stops!

Anyone else going with the same carrier on either of those dates?

Bob

Just booked with Virgin, same flights Bob (£876) :thumb2

I though that Chris was making the hotel reservations in advance or is this just for the 16th onwards?

Hmm, mine will do as spares then for holding the container doon onto the deck :augie

Alaska

Hey I'm new here,, I have no idea how it all works.. But one thing,,,I want to go riding in Alaska So if u still have some places let me know pls... Thanks

Seat upgraded - go check deals on Virgin Atlantic !!

Mr Garfield Esquire - and anyone else reading this thread.

On checking my flight details a couple of days ago I saw that Virgin Atlantic had an upgrade to Premium Economy RETURN for just £250, so grabbed the chance and upgraded:)

I had earlier seen that it was £450 so prices will change, go check your flight details on their site and you may be pleasantly surprised. I often travel on Premium Economy, and it's definitely worth the little extra for a once-in-a-lifetime-trip to Alaska - apart from the Sarge (and maybe Garfield).

I'm flying virgin but in premium economy for a smudge more than the price you show...:beerjug:

Bob

Good luck on your trip blokes. I'm dead jealous :D

Hope you're still organising these in nine years time Chris ... ;)

Then I'll treat my self on my retirement!

Have a good trip ... :thumb2
