Tried to get to Albania via Corfu earlier this year, then found out the 'Ferry' from Corfu to Albania was foot passengers only,
, so decided to have a week on the bevvy in Corfu, then ferry up to Venice and home via Austria, CZ, Germany, Holland Belgium France.
We intend to attack from the other direction next year, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Mainland Greece.
My question for all the seasoned travellers out there is:-
I can see a fairly direct route along the West coast of Albania and Into Greece just North of Igoumenitsa, however, the Garmin insists on sending me on a 300 mile route from the west coast of Albania 20 mile North of the Greece border, east into Albania, into Greece then West back to Igoumenitsa.
Is this because the direct road is poor, if that is the case, can the GSA, 2 up, make it anyway.
Any advice appreciated
