I have a set of Stahlkoffer panniers, top box and rack for a 2010 GSA (they came off a 30th Anniversary special edition). The top box is mounted on a GS luggage plate, the box is big enough to hold a full face lid. The panniers are about 15 inches high, 14 long and 10 wide.
I was getting round to sending them to eBay this week. Reasonable condition, dark grey powdercoat with black lids.
In the interests of a full disclosure:
1) All the latches work well, however I do not have the keys for the locks. There is a hole for a padlock on the latch, or I am sure replacement lock barrels could be sourced from Stahlkoffer.
2) The Stahlkoffer panniers used a steel rod to lock the box to the rack. The original owner replaced the steel rod with bolts & Nylocs as he never removed the panniers from the bike - I did not receive the rods with the panniers (but am in possession of said nuts & bolts!)
3) There is the odd scuff and chip in the powdercoat. One tie down loop on a pannier lid is bent slightly.
I'm impressed with the build on the Stahlkoffers, much better than the Holan panniers I have just fitted to my KTM.
