Thanks to Allan Jefferies and BMW for sorting out my 1200gs so swiftly.
The wouldn't start yesterday morning. Called BMW, and a technician came an hour later and said he suspected a faulty starter motor.
An hour later the bike was collected (midday) and taken to AJs, who promptly ordered a new start motor after concurring with the diagnosis.
11.30am today - less than 24hrs later the bike was delivered right to the door of my garage!
I was expecting to be without the bike for a few days but that was just amazingly quick turnaround - thankyou BMW and AJs! Sometimes they can do things right!
