ally case fitment

I've just bought a set of ally cases. I've been told that I will need longer bolts for the rear hangers to fit the brackets? BMW say I need different hangers? I don't have the cases yet so I can't look for myself. Can anyone help with the answer and potential cost? Cheers pandabear. Sorry, it's for a 1150gsa.

Fitted mine recently.You need to replace the original footrests with some nice new alloy ones.I think about £60 /pair.Finishes it of nicely.Alternatively you can grind down the originals to make them fit if you want to take a chance.Theres a guy on the ADVbike forum who did it recently,which alerted me to the need to get the replacements from my dealer who incidentaly actually did the fitting for me.
