I'm gonna take a ride up to the bike show at Ally Pally on Wednesday, I know it's all the same old shite, but yey, it's a day off work, and it's biky stuff.

Anyone else planning on going? if you're going on Wednesday, let me know and we'll meet up and have a beer. ;)

Phil,

I am there on wednesday with alli and 2 mates. Should get there about 11ish . Will look out for you , if i get like a mirror type light flash from somewhere in the Hall i know that it will be the top of your head so will pop up for a chat:D

It's Monday for me. I want to have a close look at an Arai Tour-X close up and see if I can find one for less than £300. The BMF is probably a better bet. Cheap enduro pants and boots would be nice too.

I'll probably go on Wednesday as long as I don't get the wifes flu! I'm riding from Tring, anyone else going from my neck of the woods?

Jyst got back from Ally Pally.....not a great show to be honest...very few real bargains that could not be got via t'internet but a day out i guess....mind you a blast out in the country would be a better way to spend a day off work..........

Directions??

Does anyone know what is the best way to get to Ally Pally from Slough using Public Transport??

Without bike at present :(

T.

Novice, It's easy

... Train from Slough to Paddington.

Tube to Kings Cross.

Train to Alexandra Palace.

Free bus link to the Aly Paly itself.

About 1 1/2 hours each way.

Take your minicab ?

Just got back from a disappointing Ally Pally. Heavily slanted towards rice rockets and boy racers. I was interested in getting a white Arai Tour-X helmet (normally £299) and while most were selling these at £250, HGB Motorcycles were knocking them out at £220. I then started to look at the Nitro motocross helmets, far cheaper, but none in white. "No demand for white" they all said. I did treat myself to a pair of Gerbing heated gloves though.

Let's see what's available at the BMF this year.
