I've just got a map of the Alps for my trip next year. It's a ring binder with loose, plasticized pages, showing 1:300.000 maps. The big plus point is it's weather-resistant.

You just take those pages that you'll need with you, and leave the rest at home.

It covers the French, Swiss, Austrian and Italian Alps.

Each map sheet has addresses and phone numbers of Hotels, Garages and camp-sites that are within the area it covers.

A quality product.

How much?

I've no idea.

A friend saw an advert for it in a copy of Bike magazine and ordered it me for my birthday.

The German Amazon site has it at 22.80 Euro.

:)

A picture.
