Alpine passes on advrider.......

Downloaded the alpine passes on advrider again having had to wipe my PC due to a virus.Anyway it wont open because it isn't a valid win 32 application!!
What the hell do i need to download??
I have city navigator V7 for my 2610 and it opened before when i downloaded it but now it wont.
ANy ideas??Links to downloads??

IIRC it's a .gpx file, which is what the version of Mapsource I was using at the time produced.

It's certainly not got a virus in it...I've just checked it again.

To use it, save it on your PC, then right click on it and select 'open with'........then select mapsource as the application and it should work (It just did for me again anyway)

Once it's open, save it as a .gdp file or whatever you what to use.

If you have any problems with it, PM me with your email addy and I'll convert it to whatever you need and send it to you

Somehow managed to get them on now!!
Anyway just wondering whether these are named as...........
waypoints?
places?
points of interest?
road names?

I'm going to go brave and try and upload them to my GPS!!

When i fcuk up i hope someone will help me!!

Cheers for your time Fanum......what i did was .....
Opened the mapsource programme...
File....
Open....
and selected it that way.

I aint the most PC literate but i will try cos it's only a matter of time before it all goes +i+s up!!
