Alpinestar Octane S-Moto Gloves, they are new for this year and I recon will be the best summer short glove out there. I’ve been using these gloves for a few weeks when it’s been dry and warmish. They are a bit cold now and again as they are fully vented, which is by no means a fault, just that I got them for the warmer months but like them from the out set. They are as the well armoured as my old GP gloves and give great feel. So if your after a new set, get in early as I recon they are going to be out of stock by summer with the popularity of trail style bikes.

The black ones I picked up were £59 at HG, which considering the are bulit like the £120+ GP race gloves is good value.

As my old GP race gloves, which lasted three years they do need a little breaking in, but with the GS grips being so thin it's no bad thing getting a good fit.
