I desperately needed some new boots for a trip this May, it looked like it was going to be wet 
After trying quite a few boots that I couldn’t even get on despite trying sizes that should have been too big (I'm only a size 10), I tried a pair of Alpinestars ‘Web’ boots, and these slipped straight on! These boots have a Gore-tex lining, made of thick black leather with a simple zip and Velcro closure and are in my opinion a good broad fitting I suspect at least a H. Admittedly they felt like Wellingtons to start with but after wearing them for a week in France they feel great now, Just a pity it didn’t rain
Price was around £160 and with luck should last me many years
