Alternative after-market warrany choices ?

So, after several years of paying £200 per year to Warranty Direct (and never making a claim), they hike the price to near double that... dearer, in fact, than BMW's own Mondial Insured warranty. After talking to them I manage to get a reduction but still representing a 25% increase from last year. Unacceptable. I've never had a moment's trouble from my 2005 1200GS, but it's a peace of mind issue.

So, other than Warranty Direct and BMW's own scheme, does anyone have any recent experience of any other warranty providers?

The older the vehicle, the higher the warranty premium as the warranty company presume there is a higher chance of a failure.

As your's has been trouble free, are you sure you really need one

Several years??

The £400 or £600 sitting in my own bank account would be giving me peace of mind. Handing over money for nothing would give me sleepless nights.

Still, each to their own I suppose.
