Not wishing to hijack the current horn thread that mentioned indicator cancelling I thought I would mention the system I fitted to my 1200 years ago.
I added a micro-switch to the clutch lever that is operated by pushing the lever away from its 'idle' position. This can be done by a quick flick and is almost immediately intuitive to anyone who has tried it. I wouldn't be without it now (or the BMW indicator system, post-mod.)
It worked so well, I added the same system to the brake lever so a flick away flashes the main beam. It's not as easy to use as the clutch lever, but I find it better than fumbling around on the bars for the correct switch.
The job wasn't very elegant but it was functionality I was after. I did wonder at the time if the current switches that are on both levers could be used or modded but I recall that they weren't very easy to get to.
