Alternative powered bikes....which will win out, diesel or electric?

there seem to be quite a few alternative powered bikes coming up....this one is electric and there's one on this thread that's diesel........interesting times.:)

any preference on which way things should go or would you want to always stay with petrol? do we have a choice, ultimately?:)

When you see how good diesel cars are these days, I would go for diesel...

Its great fun to drive a decent diesel....

current thinking says electric has a long way to go before it'll become practical.
amp robably wrong (you may say they're re volting) but i like some of the diesels... :augie
though - it could just be a phase i'm going through :blast
back to Electrics,
there are positive and neagtive aspects - but if anyone conduit - it'll be the Japs.
imagine the Tokyo show - a dolly bird draped over a new HybridHondaHalfwit i mean Halfwatt... who could resistor? :nenau

but this is daft - the technology cant relay be taken seriously yet anyhow...

DI 2 stroke for me please. Latest designs are far more efficient than any diesel or petrol engine and with monstrous power. Yum Yum

Just a shame no one is tooled up to make them :(
