Alu Panniers

Got caught out a few weeks ago in a snow storm

It was OK when I set off

Anyhow, when I got back I washed the bike down to remove any road salt

The bike is fine no problems.However I took the panniers off to wash it down and like a twat didn't forgot to do em
Bollox, f##k, tits arse

Now the panniers look like shite .Does anybody know how to get Alu back to its original finish .Have tried Brasso, Aut sol ,elbow grease
None of them have any effect

Alloy wheel cleaner.
Brush on, leave couple minutes, wash off well

Used one of those metal polishing kits on mine. Bought it at the bike show. It came with 3 fabric wheels which fit to a standard electric hand drill, along with 3 different grades of polishing blocks. As the man says, they come up like new.
