Get Nick Marshall on here to buy them for you and slip him a small commission for his time and trouble

Best buyer/seller and negotiator you'll find

I didn't do so well with my bargaining power. Just bought a fully loaded GSA and could only get them to drop the panniers and top box from £1100 to £1000.

I'll have a set of TT paniers and mountings to suit an 1150/adv for sale soon.

Hi

Just returned from Vern's shed, a very pleased owner of a set of his 'world beaters' panniers.
Excellent service from Vern, good crack and WHAT A SET OF PANNIERS!! I don't think you could do better.
Verns a top bloke and knowns his onions regarding panniers, check him out on his web site.
Thanks again Vern!!

I bought a set of redcap's £300 + £25 p&p ARD panniers too.

I'm sure Vern's are well made too but personally I liked the look of redcap's.

The ARD's are quick release from the inside & the frames can be removed in a few minutes. Perfect to use as a table when camping. I only run with my panniers on trips, on a day-to-day I take everything off. I've also replaced the padlocks for something less 'jangly'.

Me too for ARD Cases -Roger Redcap is top man - I went for a different design to The Doctor, with a chamfered edge !
Only problem , and not really a problem as such, is needing to move the Remus silencer over a bit , to clear the TT frames. But great panniers, and using a smaller padlock, they don't rattle at all -must be dodgy roads 'round the Doctors part of the world :rolleyes::rolleyes:

On the subject of luggage I believe 'You gets what you pay for', I have a set of luggage from Metal Mule http://www.metalmule.com/
that I purchased several years ago for my R100GS and I use also on my PD. They are a solid & reliable piece of kit that has not let me down, no they are not cheap but the atention to detail that Paul, the owner of the company puts into his products is manifest in the end result.

Regards

SEGREQ

me and rudiemoto ave just ordered verns worldbeaters, quality, loadz of sizes colours etc and the frames
are solid and made of stainless:bow

For your information guys, Oly rides a 1200GSA. The suggested panniers won't fit.

Val.
