The BMW top box and fixing plate is supplied only to fit the Adventure. My dealer says it will not fit the standard 1150GS.
Does anybody have info / or recommendations for an aluminium top box produced by third party manufacturers, which will fit the 1150GS?
Any advice/recommendations welcomed.

£125 + postage. That was with a mounting plate as well. Half of cost new.

Oh yes you can fit a 1150 adventure top box on an 1150 i fitted
one to my 1100 ( the same rack see) all you have to do is get the base plate
put the two bolts into the rack where the grab rail goes then get a peice of
2-3mm thick steel and bolt that on towards the end of the rack.

See that? That's my 1150 that is :thumb

Thanks for that Septic. To be clear, are you saying that the 1100GS has the same rear rack as the 1150GS?

Better pic as PM'd Mystic :thumb

Thanks for that Septic.... thats very good news. Could I ask a very big favour? Any chance of one or two photos illustrating how you made the modification to the 1100 rear rack / top box mounting plate? The thing is I'm just on the edge of making an offer on a full aluminium luggage set + fixings. Want to be absolutely certain the t.b. can be safely mounted to my 1150GS BEFORE offering cash!

Many thanks,

Mike / Mystic
