After watching various videos on YouTube of bikes batteries failing whilst on a trip. Is it a good idea to fit an Ammeter to my GSA 2023 or am I being over cautious. Comments and recommendations please

I covered > 40k miles on 2 1250’s. The only ever time I had issues with the battery was during Covid when I didn’t ride the bike for a week and couldn’t charge it. The OEM battery is notoriously poor at cranking the engine even if it’s the slightest bit low on charge. If you haven’t changed out the battery that’s probably the first port of call 👍🏻

You already have one. Just look at the my vehicle settings when riding and it'll tell you what the charge is like.

Irrespective of charge the batteries will fail without warning

Dont the LC onwards varients , have a volt meter in the onboard display which can be configured as the secondary display ?
