After an 8 week wait, and 2 amps being sent (1st one went AWOL) I have finally received my amplirider from Gary. Now...question is where's the best place to put it on the bike to avoid interference? System at the moment (on 1150GS) is Autocom sat in the tool tray under the pillion seat with Zumo connected. The Zumo will now go via tha amp. Both are powered via an eastern beaver fuse panel. Ideally I'd like to keep it all in the tool tray but that's not going to work.

Also, what fuse rating is required?

I put mine on the top of the air-box and never had any issues with interference.

Probably wise to fit it further back then? There's a small space just behind the seat catch, might fit in there.

What about the fuse? Gary said that it draws 0.25 amps at max...does that even need to be fused? Would it be ok to connect the Zumo (which apparantly draws 0.6amps at max) and the amplirider together on a 2amp fuse?

Has anyone experience of comparing the AmpliRider with, for example, the Fiio E06? If yes, is the output significantly louder through the AmpliRider? Many thanks.
