Shortest day today - so should it be a new year starting tomorrow:rob
Apart for a day or three 'dwell angle' the days start to get longer again (no sayin' owt aboot the wither tho').

It is not much daylight here either, in Oslo. But we do see the sun!
Up north there is no sun at all... -But they got the Aurora Borealis! There is always a bright side, my friends! :bounce1

My cousin works at Patersons factory in Aberlour.

Tomorrow is the shortiest day.

Aurora borealis.

I know I saw a site for telling when to see the northern lights (nordlys), like we have sites for telling how the weather are going to be, but I can not find it. The internet is to big!
But I know it is a syclus for many years, and we are in a lucky period now. And if you find a site telling about dots on the sun and activity on the sun, then keep in mind that is a way to tell if it is likely to see some northern lights soon. Dots/activity might change more often, many times a year.

By a thick sleeping bag, type extreme, and sleep outside! Or make a big window instead of roof on your house/bedroom!

This is pics I have nicked.
