Tried to search for it in past threads,but maybe i'm the only one who does'nt know.
When advertising a bike "For sale" why do people obscure the number plate

If you want to clone a bike, what do you need? Colour / type etc and .....

because this is the internet and you should NEVER post anything you wouldn't be happy printing on a bit of paper and posting in ASDA or on the wall of the local jail.
Now your index plate is not in itself valuable however in conjunction with a name its a different ball game.
To be fair it is less important on a site like this than it would be on auto trader but its a good habit to get into.
