As you all know my GS was stolen in January.

Had issues with insurance quoting me ridiculously low valuation for my bike.

Went on for couple of weeks before finally agreeing to a figure (still lower than the actual a market value but I was fed up).

Finally 9 days ago apparently a check was sent to my finance company. Today they still haven't received it.

So insurance says they will cancel check and wait 5 days for confirmation of cancellation!!!!!!!!!

Then reissue the check.

Rant over.

Looks like 2017 is not going to be a good year for me. Having said that none of the odd numbered years have been good for me.

Am I getting paranoid?????

Get the finance company to "lean" on insurer's.

That is exactly what I thought, that they will do a BACS transfer. But no sir they insist on cheque.

Ask for either David Bowcock or Paul Ingram at Principal Insurance. Ask them wtf is happening.

I don't think we know which dinku,s insurer is do we? I summise it's MCE who's messing him about as I've plenty of past experience with them, however I may be wrong. I'm certain he's not with Principal

Ah, my apologies I thought he had said principle. But it was you not he if that makes sense.

Best option is to get finance company to complain.
