Andy Straps Panniers

I recently bought a set of Andy Strapz Expedition Pannierz. They are very well made and can carry quite a bit of stuff, but I'm having trouble mounting the left pannier - I can't seem to get it to sit without touching the exhaust. I'm thinking of getting a rail fabricated to ensure the pannier is seperated from the exhaust. Has anyone else bought these panniers and come up with a solution?
