I am in the process of putting together a kit for all those hardened bikers who ride their bikes through the winter and don't want to watch it disintergrate before the sun shines again.

Kit will contain
spray bottle of a c f
Microfiber cloth impregnated with a c f
long handled detailing brush (for those awkward places)
pair of protective gloves
and instructions

looking at £14.95 per kit + p&p

will have kits ready to ship by the end of next week and was hoping for some serious feedback/comments .

Are the MF cloths the real thing as licenced and made by Sonny's( with the Sonny's label sewn in ) or are they the chinky ones as per supermarket stuff ?
How does C F ( ? ) compare with ACF-50 ( given the later is aviation approved and is known to be absolutely shit hot as not only removing rust but stopping it dead in its tracks and not washing off in the rain ! )

If it is ACF50 you are supplying then that is a well priced package as a spray can of ACF50 in itself is about £12.:thumb Funnily enough I was thinking this morning that now is the time to consider buying some ACF50 to prep the bike for winter so I would be up for one of your kits.....as I said, if it is ACF50.

It won't/can't (surely?) be the aerosol ACF50, more likely the much smaller ( but loads in it for winter proofing ) hand spray thingymebob.

I of course have the site owner personally minding my ACF50 can, won at Lumb Farm . It's not what you know but ........:augie

To answer the questions, yes it is the wonder stuff called acf 50 in its pure form without any propellant in a 100ml bottle with spray atomiser.
the microfiber is not made by sony but is however one of the better cloths with a 70/30 mix of Polyester and Polyamide and can be washed machine washed & is used by all the top car detailing companys
see it on ebay very soon

Sorry but that sums this up for me... Fleabay fodder..
As a main distributer of ACF I would be fairly interested in where the stuff came from ? Or are you rebottling it from a larger container and retailing it ?

Yes mate.. And I never felt so bad about something either !
The whole time I had the bike it was top notch.. took me all over Europe including some nice high Alps trails, and did a bit of fairly tough green laning here too.
Nery a problem.. Then I sell it and the damned thing more or less falls apart !!

Mmmm, that's my bike now, goto say, running great (gearbox done) and been cleaned up like new and to many new bits! Will be treated very, very well, don't worry, she's in safe hands with me.

Just bought some of that there ACF-50 stuff on a whim after not being too impressed with the thin, water soluble Scottoiler stuff that we got free at last years bike show.

What's it like, then? Seems a lot more thickerer when I shake the bottle, so I guess it'll stay put a bit longer.

Many years ago I used to empty a can of WD40 over my Tenere after each wash & it worked well, but stank all the time.

Cannot beat ACF and something to bear in mind the can is full to the top not half full like WD and others.
Use a brush and it lasts ages.
Jaws of blackbird fame i think :thumb my Bird is covered in it in case i come across that brine crap they are supposed to be using this year

save your self the bother and use these guys

they'll deep clean your bike, high pressure spray the ACF (as its supposed to be applied) and then polish your bike back up to snuff. AND they'll do it local to you.

They are I understand also about to put an after care kit together, including the RIGHT stuff to clean the bike with once its been ACF'd and a top up can of the magic formula.

I can't recommend their service enough.

Ran the GS all winter and its still spotless. Had the SP2 and R6 done now...makes cleaning them after a summer day out a lot quicker with better results.

as its supposed to be applied
Interesting.. Any chance you could point me to where it says that is how it is supposed to be used ?
I mean, I have only been to three seminar weekends for ACF-50 dealers and users.. Must have missed that tidbit along the way.

I am also wondering how this world work when it is being used in its original application ( aviation apps ) as using any high pressure application can cause some rather odd happenings within wings etc etc !
