Hi,

planning ahead for 2013 and looking at a return crossing to Bilboa next September. Price with inside cabins is @ £500. Anyone know of any discounts going?

would not hold your breath, they have not made a profit during the last 3 years! seriously consider condor ferries poole to st male - 7.5 hour crossing circa £160 return - saving of approx £250 and approx 20 hours. This will pay for two nights hotels and several tanks of fuel!

and only approsx 550 mile from spain border.

Came back from Calais yesterday lunchtime on P&O.

There were a lot of bikers who'd been turfed off Brittany in Caen the previous afternoon and had made their way up to Calais. Not best pleased. They'd been waiting on the quay side to get on the boat when an announcement was made that following a staff meeting on the boat they were all on strike and it was going to stay right where it was. Now make your own way home. Lovely.

That said - the French love a strike involving transport - so none of crossings are safe.

No discounts promos for next month I suppose (october 2012 for brittany Ferries) anyone know of ? pompy to st malo and caen to pompy :nenau

There's something about the french striking that I admire (people power), but not when your caught up in it :blast

The farmers milk spraying was a classic :D

Looks like a no then- Thanks for responding.

When you fill-in the on-line booking form, in the box marked "Promo-Code" type this (be sure to type in exactly as follows) "Stripey-shirted, greasy, garlicky, onion-selling, soap-allergic, work-shy bastards-1"
