would like to get a 1mb? is that like double the 256 that the unit came with? card for my unit,any idears, is one make better than another,and where to get one from, I have had a look round, but I always get a good answer on here for this sort of thing, as most of you guys have, as they say, been there done that,thank for your attention, will look in latter...

No. A 1MB memory card is FOUR times 'bigger' than your 256MB card.

And from what I can gather, there is no need to buy the more highly priced 'faster' memory cards.

That being said, it makes sense to buy a card from a reputable manufacturer and reseller. I've bough CF cards from amazon.co.uk with the sureness of mind that they will always sawp them if they fail. And their prices tend to be fairly keen, as well.

ok, so it's a 1GB card, and thanks cookie, I will have a look on amazon,

well I don't under stand all this gb,mb,pm stuff...so thanks for your help, and it's a 1gb.flash card that I need to get,? yes?

It is a 1 GB CompactFlash card that you need to get

Uppercase G = Giga
Uppercase B = Byte
Lowercase b = bit (1/8 of a byte)
